The Wilson country home with a wrap around porch was built in 1981.  It is located 3 miles south of town and has easy access on a paved county road.  Come experience warm primitive antiques, some for sale, while hiking to the lake or river below their home.   Be sure to notice the old flow blue dishes that they have collected for years.   Enjoy the lovely patio with a wood burning fireplace available as you enjoy the peaceful surroundings the Wilson’s have created.   The screened porch is also available with lots of vintage wicker for your use.  There is even a 7ft. long wicker porch swing!!!  Wildlife is enjoyed from the front porch, the screened back porch, or the beautiful patio.

       Special touches are fresh-cut flowers, fresh baked cookies on arrival, and/or wine and cheese by request.  Be sure to ask about our other amenities such as yoga, Raindrop Technique (Essential Oil bodywork), or BeautiControl Spa treatment which can be prearranged. Wireless internet service is available as well.  Adjacent to the kitchen dining area is a hearth room with a large brick fireplace which is great for quiet reading and cozying up to a warm fire.

The home is landscaped beautifully with many different outdoor seating areas.  One area is an aggregate floored patio that is stacked with stone walls that allows you to sit under the wisteria lined arbor on a special vintage porch swing.  This allows you a most magnificent view of the river valley below.  For the fun at heart you may even like to paddle on the lake in the john boat that is available by the gazebo.  Bring your fishing poles for great catch and release fishing.

• St. James is located on  I-44 and Highway 68/8 at the 195 mile marker.
• Turn South on Highway 68 from I-44 and drive approximately 3 miles to County Road 3480.
• Turn left and drive one-half mile to the end of the road and you are here.
